Company History
Foundation : Founded in 1958 as the “Wu-qi Resin Factory” under the East China Institute of Chemical Technology (ECIC).
Industrial Registration : Completed industrial and commercial registration in 1981.
Developing and Restructuring : Developed into Sino Polymer Products Company from the General Chemical Factory of ECIC in 1992.Further restructured from multiple school-run factories of ECUST in 1998.
Strategic Investment : Shanghai Huayi Group became the second-largest shareholder with a 30% stake in 2018.
Facility Expansion : Purchased land at No.130 Muhua Road, Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, in 2004, and completed the first phase of the construction project “Pilot, R&D, Industry, Academic and Research Base of Resin Products”.
Recognition : Awarded as a national specialized, special, and new “small giant” enterprise in 2021, and has been awarded as one of the top 20 anti-corrosion enterprises in China and one of the top 100 private manufacturing enterprises in Shanghai for many times.
